How to make a golden material in Blender? Very easy and beginner friendly

To make golden material in blender open blender and follow the steps given below:-

1. Select any object which you want to make golden. I am using a UV sphere you can use any object.

2. Now click on the shading button on the top navigation bar as shown in the image:-

3. A shading workspace will open like this:-

4. Now click on new in shade editor as shown in the image:-

5. A material will be created like this:-

6. Now click on base color to change the base color of your material:-

7. A color picker will be open. Then paste this hex color #FFD700 in hex option:-

8. This will change your material color to golden-like color.

9. Now click on roughness and turn it down to 0 (zero), this will decrease the roughness of the object and make it shiny:-

10. Now click on metallic and turn it to full:-

As the name suggests this will make your object fully metallic.

Now you can see you have a golden object.

To make it smooth right-click on it and choose shade smooth and if it doesn't work hit the space bar and type shade smooth and select it.
